Good news for Angelenos! There is no need to go to the Provincial Capitol to get an NBI Clearance anymore. There is a local National Bureau of Investigation Office that you can go to for clearance and renewal purposes.
The NBI Angeles City Branch is located at the third level of the Robinsons Place Angeles and is open from Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm. So how do you get an NBI Clearance from this office?
Here are the steps and requirements:
Prepare two valid identification cards such as your driver’s license, voter’s ID, passport, TIN number, Philhealth ID, PRC license, UMID card, senior citizen’s identification card or an alien certificate of registration. Whichever among these identification cards you have should work.
Proceed to the NBI Office at the Robinsons Place and fill up the clearance application form, ensure that all information entered in the fields are correct and avoid spelling mistakes. Submit the form along with your Identification Cards and pay for the clearance fee. You will go through an image capturing and fingerprint scanning process and once cleared, your NBI Clearance will be available at the releasing station.
Normally, getting an NBI Clearance is easy and fast unless there is a “hit”. When your application appeared to have a “hit” you will be asked to proceed to a quality control station or office for an interview to verify that you have no criminal or derogatory record.
