First off, what is a UMID I.D.? Also known as Unified Multi-purpose ID, this type of identification card’s purpose is to streamline the identification systems of all government agencies, and government-owned and controlled corporations.
A UMID Card is an acceptable identification card anywhere and makes transactions with government offices and agencies easy.
Bring any of the following requirements when applying for a UMID I.D.:
- Driver’s License
- PRC License
- Seaman’s Book
If you do not have primary ID’s mentioned above, you can provide at least two of any of the following supporting documents:

Next, visit any of the following offices: SSS, Pag-Ibig, PhilHealth or GSIS or Government Service Insurance System.
In Angeles City, these offices are mostly located at the Angeles Business Center Building Nepo Business Center corner Teresa Avenue and Marquee Mall. Get a UMID Form and number and accomplish the form. Submit the form along with your valid identification cards and wait to get verified. Once verified, you will be directed to the proper window for fingerprint scanning, signature and ID capture process.
Once done, you just have to wait for your UMID I.D. to be delivered to the address you have specified when you filled up the form. Please note that a UMID I.D. is free of charge so there is no need to prepare a certain amount of money for fees.
