You have three bus options; 5 Star Bus, Victoria Liner and Genesis Bus. Mostly, tourist commuters choose 5 Star Bus because it’s the nearest bus station to NAIA. More or less they charge 150 pesos from the bus terminal to Dau. Once you’re already in Dau, you can ride a jeepney or tricyle.
The most convenient way is to ride a tricycle. They will drop you off exactly in your destination. The payment usually starts at 100. There are some tricycle drivers that overcharge. It’s better to ask the hotel receptionist or guesthouse manager where you’re going to stay on how much will it cost you going to their place. Remember, do not take any tricycle you will see in the street because most of the time there are those who overcharge specially if they observe that it’s your first time to travel in Angeles City. Look for the tricycle terminal and if you can’t find it, you can ask the food vendors or other passengers. Filipinos are very approachable; for sure you will find it in no time.
The other adventurous and cheap way to go to Angeles City is by riding a jeepney. From Dau Terminal, you need to walk up to the street corner. Once, you reach KFC and Caltex go on the other side of the road and take a “Dau-Clark-Maingate” Jeepney and get off once you are at the Maingate Jeepney Terminal and take “C.Point Holy Hi-way” Jeepney again. At this point, you need to know the exact location of your hotel or guesthouse. If you will be staying at the hotel in walking street or perimeter road, you can ask the driver to pull you over at Mcdonalds walking street. Near Mcdonalds, take a tricycle going to your hotel or guesthouse. By the way, do not forget to say “Para po sa tabi”, which means kindly pull me over to the side I am going down. Do not also forget to ask the tricycle driver on how much it cost because they might overcharge you.
To simply the information, you need to ride a taxi in NAIA terminal going to Pasay Bus Station (5 Star Bus, Victoria Liner, Genesis Bus) to Dau terminal and then tricycle/jeepney ride (and tricycle) to your hotel or guesthouse in Angeles City.
Now, the easiest way is to ride from NAIA to Clark International Airport via Genesis Bus. See the image below:
